| The most present need at Mama Tara's is to rebuild the old side of the home. The new side is now complete and being piped with running water! In order to pipe the old building (what will be the boy's dorm) with running water it will have to be updated and improved. As soon as the funds come in this can be completed! Please assist us in making this home a healthy, happy environment for these beautiful children! |
| Another huge need at this home is for a kitchen and eating area. Pictured to the left is the only type of cooking available at this home with over 20 children. While electricity is being finalized and secured, this home needs a proper place to prepare meals away from flies and out of the rain. |
| *ADOPT THIS ORPHANAGE* Become personally involved with your group or church by holding specific fund raisers for these projects, bringing your own group to Honduras to hold a VBS, or becoming a "gifting church" by providing Christmas and birthday gifts on a yearly basis! Your group can hold a special place in these kids hearts by deciding to become a part of their family in very needed areas and fulfilling Christ's calling to " ...look after orphans in their distress..." (James 1:27). Contact R.O.O.M. with your decision to make Mama Tara's the orphanage of your heart! We will keep you updated with pictures, letters from kids, newsletters, and the opportunities to visit the orphanage with us! |

Help us fill in the gaps; to provide the type of home they deserve to live in. Contact ROOM today, and be the "family" Mama Tara's Orphanage has been waiting for. |
